The Heysen was inspired by Australian landscape artist Hans Heysen, who was known for his remarkable paintings of gum trees set against a background of stunning effects of light. Inspired by its incredible location, an understated palette of colours and textures has been utilised to connect the building to the abundant nature that surrounds. Everything you need is within reach including peace and tranquility. Enjoy the best of both worlds. Live close to nature, yet still close to local supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. The Heysen features 100 year old gum trees which have been preserved for our residents, keeping that close connection to nature, whilst paying homage to its namesake.
Located on the corner of Turramurra Avenue and Wonga Wonga Street, The Heysen is just a short, two-block stroll to the Turramurra village precinct, with its bakeries, boutiques, pharmacies and supermarkets.
