Sharon Yang

Head of Investment and Capital Management

Sharon Yang joined AL Capital in August 2021 as Head of Capital Transactions, drawn by Aqualand Group’s strong market reputation. She has since progressed to Head of Investment and Capital Management for Aqualand group in 2024, overseeing property investments, transactions, and asset management. Since joining Aqualand, Sharon has led fundraising and asset management for Aura and the wholesale fund for the Munn Street Barangaroo project. With over 20 years of experience in real estate capital markets, she has been involved in over $6 billion of acquisitions across Australia and China, including major Sydney and Shanghai projects. Prior to Aqualand, Sharon was Senior Director at CBRE Asia Pacific, leading the international capital markets platform. She holds an MBA from Macquarie University, a Bachelor’s from Fudan University, and has served on industry committees and mentored through Property Council of Australia and Women in Banking and Finance.
