Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi is a world-renowned free exhibition that transforms a two-kilometre stretch of Sydney’s coastline from Bondi to Tamarama into an outdoor gallery of monumental sculptural works. Since 2016, Aqualand has been proud to support this iconic event, and in 2025 we celebrate 10 years of meaningful partnership.
Our ongoing commitment includes the Aqualand Sculpture Award — one of the most significant sculpture prizes in the country. In a historic moment, Professor Shen Lieyi was named the 2024 recipient, becoming the first Asian sculptor to receive the prestigious $100,000 award for his striking work “Tracing”.

Art Gallery of New South Wales

As a long-time supporter of The Art Gallery of New South Wales, Aqualand recently broadened the partnership to include the naming of the atrium in its new northern building. The stunning architectural space, known as the Aqualand Atrium, is a key space for visitors to enjoy art and architecture with major collection works displayed on the rammed earth wall and in the adjoining galleries.
